For almost five decades, Arnold Schwarzenegger has built his legacy as one of Hollywood’s great action stars. Despite stepping away from acting to pursue a successful political career, Schwarzenegger returned earlier this year. The former Mr. Olympia’s Netflix series FUBAR captured the #1 spot on the streaming giant’s charts soon after its release. Since then, the bodybuilding icon has worked with stars like Chris Hemsworth, Gal Gadot, and more. Earlier, Gadot, who starred in Netflix’s action-thriller Heart of Stone, spoke about Arnie in an interview.

The pair first met in Brazil at this year’s Netflix TUDUM event and worked together to promote Heart of Stone. In the interview, the Wonder Woman star with a $30 million net worth raved about how Arnie continues to inspire her at age 76.

In her interview, Gal Gadot said she thanked the seven-time Mr. Olympia for his efforts. “It was great. He’s such a wonderful, warm, open man. I grew up watching his films,” the 38-year-old said during the interview. Gadot revealed she still watches Arnie’s films with her daughter. However, when they met, Gadot talked about their “work and Israel, and Austria.”

“I was thanking him for going to Auschwitz, to the camp, last year to visit, and to talk about what happened in World War II,” the actress said.

Besides acting, Arnold Schwarzenegger is also a philanthropist and activist at heart. The 76-year-old conquered bodybuilding, politics, and acting, and used his worldwide fame to spread awareness about pressing issues, including racial and politically motivated hatred.

The former Mr. Olympia kept dumbbells instead of tools inside the compartment of his tank so he could train. However, Gal Gadot didn’t have to resort to sneaky tricks as she served as a combat fitness instructor for two years.
