Similarly, in a recent Instagram reel video, renowned IFBB bodybuilder and YouTube personality Greg Doucette offered valuable advice to popular social media star and content creator Alex Eubank. 

The self-proclaimed ‘Greek God on social media’ had discussed the possibility of considering performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) to further improve his physique, despite currently being a natural bodybuilder. The former powerlifter’s insightful response shed light on the importance of honesty and transparency in the bodybuilding world.

Doucette, known for his unwavering dedication to the sport, emphasized that being open and honest about one’s choices is crucial, especially in an era dominated by social media. The YouTube personality emphasized that openly admitting to using PEDs would help people better understand the decisions made and prevent deception among fans and viewers.

“One thing I can promise you is that If you’re If you are honest and tell people I’m doing this, at least people would understand. Much better than lying and pretending that you’re natural, deceiving the fans and viewers,” Doucette said in the video.

The fitness coach noted that the 20-year-old’s belief of being the only natural bodybuilder was a misconception that social media would disapprove of. Doucette highlighted several other well-known natural bodybuilders in the social media sphere, such as Will Tennyson, Jesse James West, and Jeff Nippard. By mentioning these individuals, the Guinness world record holder aimed to illustrate that numerous natural bodybuilders have achieved notable success without resorting to performance-enhancing substances.

He suggested that if any of these athletes were to choose a different path and begin using PEDs, they would undoubtedly face significant backlash from their fans and followers. He said, “If they chose to go to the dark side, of course, should be some backlash.” Transitioning from his advice to Alex, the Canadian bodybuilder expressed the conviction that if the young influencer were to take the route of using PEDs, he should be prepared for the consequences and the potential backlash that might follow. Doucette’s extensive experience in the bodybuilding world allowed him to provide invaluable insights into the realities of such a decision.
