Even though he was not able to claim the prestigious Mr. Olympia, the IFBB pro had the best debut in history. His muscular physique and aesthetic body are still praised in the bodybuilding realm.

Wheeler appeared in a podcast called ‘The Menace’ in 2021. The 57-year-old not only spoke about his health and goals in his life, but he also went about his insecurity and lack of self-confidence. However, a resurfaced picture of Flex Wheeler from 1993’s Arnold Classic shows his confidence through his physique while fans are in awe after witnessing it.

The picture uploaded by ‘Arnold Sports’ on Instagram shows Flex Wheeler in 1993 Arnold Classics. He is showing off his triceps in the picture, and surely that is enough evidence as to why he won that year. Wheeler had previously opened up on ‘The Menace’ about his self-doubts. He had said, “I would dismiss it and think they were wrong. My analogy was ‘People say bad things about me and if people say good things about me, they just don’t know … Even in times when I went onstage and people considered me very arrogant and full of myself, it was a façade because I didn’t believe in myself. ”

Wheeler’s arrogance was actually a mask to hide his insecurity. Nonetheless, fans love him and gushed over the resurfaced photo, and did not waste any time and started commenting on his build.
