Nick Walker wasn’t the only bodybuilder who stole the show at the New York Pro. Other than The Mutant, many other athletes also won their Olympia qualification. The three-time Olympia winner, Ashley Lynnette Jones, also competed in the NY Pro and won the women’s bodybuilding title alongside booking her spot for the Superbowl of bodybuilding. However, this didn’t come easy to Jones.

Bodybuilding Instagram page “bisandtris” recently shared the insane transformation Jones has undergone over the past few years. This transformation is what turned her into a tough competitor in the bodybuilding industry. On top of that, Jones made some changes in the division she was competing in as well.

Ashley Jones switched divisions thrice

The post included a series of pictures from the epic transformation the bodybuilder has undergone. Jones shifted categories three times in the past five years. The New York Pro Champion started competing in the figure division in 2019. Then she moved on to the women’s physique and won two pro shows in the category.

Jones won the Texas Pro in 2021 and the Chicago Pro in 2022. Later, she went on a hiatus before returning for the 2024 New York Pro. Now the former Texas Pro winner has jumped categories again and moved to the women’s bodybuilding division. Despite taking over a year off from the competitive stage, she made her comeback with a glorious win.

At the NY Pro, Ashlye Jones defeated Brazilian bodybuilder Leyvina Rodrigues Barros in an intense battle to showcase a well-crafted physique. Jeanie Welker, a bodybuilder from the United States, secured third place. After witnessing the epic comeback and transformation of the bodybuilder, fans sure had a lot to say.

Fans have high hopes for the bodybuilder’s next shows

A bodybuilding enthusiast was left stunned witnessing the mind-boggling transformation and was forced to ask Jones about the secret behind her physique. “What is the secret,” they wrote. Another fan was already excited to see the New York Pro champion on the Olympia stage showcasing her well-crafted physique. “Excited to see her at the Olympia this year; she’s going to shake up WBB,” they penned. A fitness freak was so impressed by her transformation that they commented, “Definitely an inspiration!”

An admirer of Jones expressed that “Regardless of the division, her physique has always been next level.” They continued and shared that “BB is definitely where she needs to be, not only for her but for Women’s BB!” An Instagram user who closely followed her transformation commented on how she had user her time in the sport and wrote, “She made great use of those 5 years.” A bodybuilding fan simply wrote, “This transition is why she deserves all the respect.”
