Starring Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, and Simon Pegg, their transformational journey was also a point of intrigue among the fans.

A recent report by GQ Magazine revealed the behind-the-scenes of the epic action feature. The actors put all their hard work and sweat into giving their characters the most ideal form and look. While Cruise usually maintains his chiseled look, Simon Pegg appeared in the best shape of his life.?

Four-time Academy Award-winning actor, Cruise has emerged as one of the leading action stars of this era. Therefore, when filming alongside an actor of such stature, the British actor, Pegg knew he had to gear up on his fitness potential.?

Playing the role of Benji in the movie, the 53-year-old actor consulted with notable PT expert Nick Lower. The actor was looking for a trainer to work with at his home in London, while on his training for a Star Trek film in Los Angeles. Regardless, Lower shared in the interview with GQ Magazine that Pegg is ?very much into fitness? and also maintains his diet regularly.?

Even during the COVID restrictions, the duo teamed up to adapt to all kinds of situations. They remotely trained on Zoom calls. At times, Pegg would be stuck in hotel rooms, with hardly any equipment to work with. In such a scenario, the actor had to improvise, using his hands as equipment. ?I seem to remember, he actually grabbed a marble tabletop and used it as a weight,? Lower recalled. However, the trainer did not get to train with Cruise, but he got a brief idea of his finesse.?

Tom Cruise has been the ultimate star of the M: I franchise and there?s no two ways about it. The report claimed that no one worked harder than the 61-year-old actor. ?Tom trains religiously, and he obviously eats very well,? Lower said. Even though they did not work out together, he got a chance to meet the star on Pegg?s 50th birthday.?

The PT expert shared that Cruise was impressed with Pegg?s progress and asked him to keep up with the good training and keep him fit. Speaking of the actor?s approach, Lower said that Cruise has no room for slacks. The trainer added, ?He does his own stunts. He?s in top condition all the time.?
