The world of bodybuilding has witnessed scores of disagreements and conflicts. However, none as intense as the rivalry between Ronnie Coleman and Flex Wheeler. The discord gained momentum after Coleman overpowers and trounces Wheeler in the Canada Cup. Duplicating the history in 1998, Mr. Olympia, when Wheeler was in full swing to win, Coleman turned the tables by routing an exceptional bodybuilder.

Flex Wheeler says “back with a lot better and a lot bigger, and I felt like I could close the gap.” Nevertheless, fate was favoring Coleman in 1999, beating Wheeler the second time in a row and leaving no stone unturned for him to work. “He is out of my reach,” said Flex. Despite getting routed, Flex was “ comfortable that he won with a perfect score.” Later, Wheeler explains, “if it would have been a one-point difference, I would have thought harder.”
