Regardless, both these aspects of a weight loss journey were aced by English fitness enthusiast, Matthew Riggs.?

The Essex-native recently shared his journey while talking to the Daily Star. The father-of-two narrated what inspired him to embark on his fitness journey, which helped him downsize from his obese physique. He lost a massive 196 pounds and is now looking to maintain his shredded look in the future.?

As per the interview which surfaced on Saturday, the 36-year-old fanatic revealed how he has managed to keep up with his fitness regime after losing around 200 lbs. Hinting at his early motivation, Riggs shared that after his son asked him if he was going to die, owing to his obesity, he knew he had to do something.?

With enough hard work and dedication, the fitness enthusiast transformed himself into a fit and muscular individual. This, in turn, changed his whole perspective on life and himself. Besides his concern for the kids, the way he looked also irked Riggs. “So my fitness journey is still going strong,” when asked about his plan now.?

Working his way upward, the English man is now targeting a more defined look with greater mass. Hence, he said, “At the minute I’m trying to gain muscle and increase my definition.” Moreover, he has aimed to challenge his comfort zone and gain more muscle by eating more food. Thus, he has curated a diet plan that helped him stay in his fit proportions throughout.?

As per the source, Riggs? typical diet routine comprises about 80g of oats mixed with hot water and 30g of Whey protein for breakfast. After 2 hours, he gets ready for his first snack, which is 200g of chicken and about 150g of potato. At noon, he goes for lunch, including another 200g of chicken, vegetables (80g), rice (180g), and 300g of pineapple.?

That?s not all. Before training in the evening, he snacks up on another 50g of oats with Whey protein followed by one more after his workout. His last meal is around 9:30 pm, which involves four rice cakes with nut butter.?
