An Aussie powerlifting daddy is up to unique things in life. People visit the gym to lift weights and improve strength but this bodybuilder from Melbourne loves lifting natural stones while setting records. Laird Ross has till now lifted 900kg in total and currently aims to do a bench press of 250 kg. He chronicles his unique powerlifting journey on his Instagram page with nearly 40k followers.
The recent Instagram post shows him ripping a log with his hands much to people’s astonishment. He describes himself as not being an average daddy while mentioning all the unique things he do which are unimaginable by the regular gym-goers in the post.

Passionate about natural stone lifting Ross generally posts videos of him lifting heaving stones in his garage gym. He also enjoys building his gym equipment from scratch. The Australian powerlifter proclaims himself as someone who has mastered the skill to blend training for sport and training for fitness.
The personal coach believes in moderation while training. He recently shared a post on Instagram where he was busy tearing a wooden log. He captioned the post by writing,”Some people post a 100 gym selfies, I post me ripping a log that I failed to split.” He clearly distinguishes himself from the regular crowd by stating some things that are unique to his powerlifting journey.
“We are not the same. I also don’t have mirrors in the garage gym. I also don’t have chalk – just a bag of cement instead.” he says leaving the fitness world puzzled. He concluded the post by writing,” Just your not-so-average Aussie dad – 110kg.” Followers of the natural powerlifter always shower praises on Ross’s unique personality. And this time the comments were no different.
