Paul Baxendale talked about Temple Gym

The bodybuilding pro went on a talk show and shared how different the gym culture was 30 years ago when they were at the peak of their careers. He also said that the Temple Gym was palpable and what made it more intriguing was watching Dorian Yates perform his fitness routine religiously with determination.

Baxendale wrote, “You could have touched the force as it resonated around us, through us and off of us. To stand behind Dorian as he did squats was to be a part of something mythical, so powerful that nothing need be said, although we always knew which words would generate an extra burst from within the beast.”
