The 8x Mr. Olympia King Ronnie Coleman is rooting for last year’s runner-up Derek Lunsford, and the latter is not falling short on the training regime. The 215 lbs mass monster recently posted a snap of his back, leaving the bodybuilding community jaw dropped.

Derek Lunsford’s physique update shook the internet

Bodybuilders undergo rigorous training and diet regime to build a physique that could win Mr. Olympia’s title. But Derek Lunsford narrowly missed the opportunity last year and came second in the prestigious event. However, this time, he is leaving no stone unturned to win the Sandow Trophy. Lunsford would be happy to know that bodybuilding legend Ronnie Coleman is rooting for him.

In an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session, the 8x Mr. Olympia spilt beans on his choice for this year’s Mr. Olympia title. The King predicted Derek Lunsford would win the 2023 competition. After witnessing Lunsford’s monstrous back, the bodybuilding world is sure of Coleman’s choice. The 30-year-old shared a post-workout glimpse on Instagram, and the muscle gains of the icon are tremendous.

Lunsford was sporting a massive back and striated front that could send chills to the competitors. “FRONT BACK. Well… back to front,” the bodybuilding icon captioned the post, and fans reached the comment section to declare the verdict of this year’s Mr. Olympia.

Bodybuilding fans were stunned to witness the muscle monster. “This gotta be one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen,” wrote a mesmerized fan. “Game over for the open,” declared a follower with utmost confidence after witnessing the monstrous back of Lunsford. “The best back ever … the new mr olympia,” announced another.

“The BEST!!! The times of Big Backs are coming back to Olympia!) Respect!” commented a bodybuilding fan impressed by the bodybuilding icon’s gains. “Bro… this is giving me boss battle vibes,” wrote a fan in excitement.
