Seven-time Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger has been an animal lover ever since his childhood. Whether it be a dog, a donkey, a horse, or a pig, Schwarzenegger has managed to keep as a pet every animal possible. His mansion, based in Los Angeles, is like heaven for pets, as all the animals seem to have fun together in each other’s company. Arnold’s loved ones also seem to understand his love for pets, as his girlfriend has gifted him several pets, as revealed by him on various occasions. 

In a recent podcast that the bodybuilding veteran featured, he revealed that a while back, when he was driving to Mandeville Canyon, a truck ahead of him had a donkey in a trailer. While Schwarzenegger was cursing the driver all the way up for blocking his path, he later learned that it had a gift for him from his special someone.

Arnold Schwarzenegger reveals Heather Milligan’s Christmas present

The past few weeks have been hectic for Schwarzenegger as he promotes his upcoming book, ‘Be Useful: Sevel Tools of Life.’ As part of the promotion campaign, he featured in countless interviews and podcasts. In a recent podcast with SiriusXM, Schwarzenegger was talking about his love for pets. Amidst this, he revealed an incident involving his girlfriend gifting him a pet donkey.

Talking about the same, Schwarzenegger stated, “I was driving up to Mandeville Canyon, and there was a truck with a trailer and with a donkey in it… And I was cursing all the way up to Mandeville Canyon.” Continuing further, he says, “I just followed the truck all the way up to my driveway; I get out, and now Heather comes out.” This was when he realized that the donkey was a Christmas gift from his loving girlfriend.

While this was not the first time Milligan gifted Schwarzenegger a pet animal, what was even more exciting was that this proved helpful for his pet horse, Whisky, who was longing to get a companion to play with. The friend came in the form of Lulu, a donkey.

Schwarzenegger revealed further that the duo has been “glued together ever since.” While it might be a bit funny at first to think that someone gets a donkey as their Christmas present, on the other hand, this also proves that Milligan takes into consideration the likes of ‘Arnie’ as he gifted him the cute little four-legged companion.
