The New York Pro 2024 will be the second pro show that IFBB Pro Justin Rodriguez will be participating in this year. In 2021, Rodriguez had an impressive run at the Mr. Olympia, placing in the top ten. However, the last two years haven’t been great for the bodybuilder.

Since 2021, Rodriguez has failed to even secure a place on the Mr. Olympia’s stage. But he is not one to dwell on the past. Rodriguez seems all set for the New York Pro, which is just days away. Hinting at his preparations, he has now posted a physique update showcasing his gains in recent times.

The bodybuilding page, bisandtris,” recently posted Rodriguez’s current physique update for the New York Pro Show. In the first frame, the IFBB Pro bodybuilder did a side chest pose, showcasing the separation lines and striations on his chest. Rodriguez had participated in the Detroit Pro Show held last month, competing among new uprising talents. While Martin Fitzwater took the title home, the show, the Dominican bodybuilder had to be satisfied with fourth place. One bodybuilding critic bashed the bodybuilder for not making any improvements and staying the same, writing, “Unfortunately even seen this same story last few years hasn’t translated to stage in a few years.” Another fan called out Rodriguez for not fulfilling the fan’s expectations after hyping them and wrote, “won’t know until he steps on stage to know if his stomach is fixed. I can’t ride that hype this time.” An Instagram user lamented how they had seen this before from Rodriguez and wrote, “The midsection is destroyed and it’s the same old story every single time he gets on stage. Pushed off to the side fighting that uphill battle.”

After looking at Rodriguez’s physique, wat do you think? Will he be able to outperform the likes of Nick Walker at the New York Pro? Let us know in the comments.
