After retiring, the athlete has resorted to a rather simpler lifestyle that benefits his health in an ordinary manner. Not striving to appear like a beast anymore, Heath revealed that his diet plans have changed and he does not intend to go bigger. The interview snippet was reshared by the athlete himself on Twitter, confirming his plans for the future.

The 43-year-old athlete recently shared a snippet from an interview, initially posted by the Transcend Company. Speaking of diet plans currently, Heath admitted that he does not eat as much as he used to back in the day. “My diet has definitely changed,” he said.

While competing, he was expected to train and consume food to gain a certain weight. Hence, the pro bodybuilder was eating over 4,500 calories per day, per the video. Further into the details, his protein proportion in the meals was skyrocketing with only a few ounces of carbs. However, Heath confessed, “but I stick with the same type of foods, it’s just less quantity.”
Moreover, the athlete was eating up to eight meals a day while competing whereas now he sticks to three or four. The American icon acknowledged that he does not desire to be 280 pounds anymore, and that has helped him stick to a normal diet plan. Heath revealed, “I’m actually perfectly fine under 250 pounds but I do like the cheat days, I can’t lie.” Similarly, the athlete once shared his favorite cheat meal in an interview.

In a candid chat once, Heath opened up about his favorite cheat meal, lightening up all the serious talk about his career and regime. Surprisingly, the 270 lbs bodybuilder is a cheeseburger and fries fanatic. Hence, he revealed that a “good bacon cheeseburger with steak fries,” with chilies on them would be his ideal cheat plan.

Nevertheless, cheat meals are a rarity in his profession. Hence, most of his days were spent sticking to a carb-rich diet that bolstered his beasty physique. As per his revelation, maintaining his diet would cost him around $20,000 monthly.
