In the past, legendary bodybuilding icons were cast in movies as the hero for their real-life strength and physique. This was the case with IFBB Mr. Universe, Lou Ferrigno, who changed the face of Hulk when he became the superhero.

Ferrigno recently uploaded a photo from the first season of The Incredible Hulk and fans became nostalgic as soon as they saw the picture. Ferrigno’s impeccable physique combined with the character of the Hulk to create a timeless experience for the audience more than four decades ago.

The picture uploaded by the iconic bodybuilder was from the episode named ‘The Hulk Breaks Las Vegas’ from Season 1. In the picture, Lou is looking frightening with his jacked muscles, which are all colored green. Ferrigno was a true real-life depiction.?

The Incredible Hulk was the highlight of Lou Ferrigno’s movie career along with his bodybuilding career. His iconic acting as the Hulk has set high standards for other actors playing the superhero. Just like his father, Ferrigno Jr. is also an actor and had previously said, ?Unfortunately, um? even if my, if I was the size of my father, um? I don?t think it could be pulled off.?
