The world has a strange connection to power. And everyone wants to feel strong inside out. But the world witnesses the strongman every year after the World’s Strongest Man competition concludes. The four-time champion of this competition has had his strength recognized across arenas. In fact, Joe Rogan once described him as “the biggest guy” who could “smoke everybody”.
The famous podcaster, Rogan, was stunned to learn about the magnificent strength of this person as he anticipated his participation in a famous combat game.
Joe Rogan on Brian Shaw’s Strength

Brian Shaw has been a 4x WSM champion, lifting the trophy in 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2016. The Strongman arena is revered by the sports community because of Strongman champions like him, Eddie Hall, and Hafthor Bjornsson. Apart from the four wins at the World’s Strongest Man competition, Shaw has been a three-time Arnold Strongman Classic champion.
His heavy weighted stunts in the gym are a constant inspiration for his fans. In one of his podcasts, Joe Rogan was seen discussing Brian Shaw with Bryan Callen in his The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast. “The Biggest Guy is Brian Shaw, He’s so Big,” exclaimed Callen before adding his physical measurements.

Explaining the strength of Brian Shaw to Rogan, Callen said, “He took 300 lbs in one hand. He squatted 720 lbs 13 times in under a minute. He’s squatting a car in the Brian Shaw Classic.”
The heavy numbers stunned Rogan, who interpreted, “Imagine trying to do Jiu-Jitsu Against that guy. He’d smoke everybody.”
Asserting Rogan’s statement, Callen adds, “I know he would.” And the Strongman fans have witnessed the mountain strength of Shaw in the latest edition of Shaw Classics.
The Shaw Classics winner
The 41-year-old’s love for the Strongman competitions made him start the Shaw Classics. Despite being the host of the competition, Brian Shaw participates in the competition, setting the Strongman stage on fire. This year’s edition also saw serious competitors in the form of reigning Strongman Mitchell Hooper.

But it was Brian Shaw who lifted the trophy with his skill and experience. The 2023 edition happened on August 19-20 in Colorado and entertained the Strongman audience as Hooper and Shaw clashed till the very last. The 441lbs Strongman giant stood first, while Hooper came second.
