Among many training techniques, Cutler pinpointed how the basic standing calf raise was an ideal one. Other than this, he underscored squats and stiff-legged deadlifts, which are strength-training exercises to target the hamstring. He also suggested doing deadlifting with dumbbells and barbells. Moreover, he talked about pull-ups, which are responsible for giving one a v-taper body with broad shoulders and lats down to the narrow waist.

Touching upon ‌shoulder strength and muscle topics, he suggested the shoulder press to be the best option. This could be done using a dumbbell, barbell, or the Smith machine as well. For chest training, Cutler recommended the basic bench press. To get well-built biceps, he advocated the standard Barbell curl exercises, while for triceps, he recommended doing dips.
