With the rise in popularity of short-form content, people across the world have invented and participated in various challenges. However, few challenges might be as dangerous as the popular PK challenge. According to Doucette, in the PK challenge, two influencers go up against one another in a drinking contest to win prizes. However, the challenge also features a specific alcoholic drink.

People who take on the PK challenge drink Baijiu, a Chinese spirit with an alcohol content of 30 to 60 percent.?“He drank four bottles of the stuff. That’s two liters! About half a gallon!”?said Doucette. Sanqiange started streaming the challenge on his Douyin at around?”1 A.M.” on May 16,?and hours later, his parent found his lifeless body.

The former powerlifter said Brother of 3000 drank the equivalent of 47 5% beers in a matter of hours. Coach Greg asked what would happen if someone drank 47 beers in a couple of hours. “You’re not going to be with us,” he said in the video. According to the IFBB Pro, challenges like these should be banned from social media,?“People should not be putting themselves in harm’s way in order to get followers,”?said the bodybuilder. He also talked about some other dangerous challenges, highlighting the underlying motivator.
