It is quite unexpected to see a post regarding aquatic life on a famous bodybuilder’s social media feed. However, 2019 Mr. Olympia Brandon Curry did the same. Not only did he share an amazing insight about a rare fish but also imparted crucial lessons and motivation that can be drawn from the story.

The 41-year-old IFBB Pro bodybuilder, Brandon Curry has won Arnold Classic four times since 2013. Curry also won the Mr. Olympia in 2019 and he still ranks among the top 4 in the contest. In the present circumstances, after Curry lost his Olympia title, he needed to have some motivation to keep on striving for the next Olympia title. The fitness community was astonished as he posted a video of a fish to show how motivation can be found in the most simple perceptions.

Curry deliberately shows how the relationship between a fisherman and the Catfish is in any desert. The simple analogy provided by him points out the resilience and dedication of both the fish that chases water and the fisherman who is chasing the fish. In the caption of his post, he wrote, “I never thought there would be wisdom in a statement such as, “follow the fish to water.””

Brandon Curry also pointed towards his faith in god and the fact that he is a believer. Furthermore, he also suggested how one should not think that what is weak right now cannot become great someday. He said, “But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty”.

Brandon Curry almost did not participate in this year’s Mr.Olympia contest. After Nick Walker quit the contests when fans were scared about Curry’s decision about the competition, the bodybuilder dropped an official statement only hours before.
