In the podcast, while having a conversation about substance use in bodybuilding, Edwin Mejia Jr. said,” I’ve seen the effect.” Then Martinez explained the effects of PEDs, saying, “They crash and burn.”

He highlighted how substance users fall apart due to the use of PEDs at an early stage, neglecting to build a proper base for their body. They lose all their size and muscle definition as they age. He shed light on the fact that when you stop your training, there is no coming back for you.

Continuing further, they talked about Robbie Robinson and highlighted how well-defined his muscles are, even at his age. Martinez said,” I know guys half his age that bodybuild for 10 years stopped they’re half his age right now and they’re falling apart.” He highlighted that substance users lack the passion that Robbinson holds for bodybuilding.

He mentioned,” You can’t do it for girls you can’t do it just because you need a more confidence you really got to be into it because you’re passionate about it you love it.

Later on, Ehsan Farahi explained how building your fundamentals is important for you despite using PEDs. He highlighted that using substances at a young age makes your muscles strong and you lift heavy, but that’s not all to it. The joints, ligaments, and fundamentals get neglected, and this catches you off guard.

He concluded by stating,” It’s like you’re building a building without a base.” Martinez not only shed light on the importance of building a base but also on the other potential effects of PEDs on your body.

Potential risks of using PEDs

He started by mentioning,” Reason why most people not using it so for you to go out thinking you’re going to be a trends setter of steroids and start using that”.

He also opened up about donating blood while using PEDs and their effects.
