The former two-time Arnold Classic UK champion, Michael Daboul has shared a piece of very disheartening news. Daboul was hospitalized after getting beaten up by four security guards at a pro show in Maidenhead, UK. According to the pro bodybuilder, they jumped at him out of nowhere and injured him badly.
Daboul posted a story a few hours ago on his Instagram handle, sharing the whole incident with his fans. He was at a 2brospro show in the UK when the situation occurred as the 2023 New York Pro winner wanted to go backstage.
According to Daboul, he wanted to go backstage to meet his partner so that he could inform her about his whereabouts at the show. After the show was over, Daboul asked one of the security guards about this and was told that he could go. As soon as the 6X Pro medal winner entered backstage, things escalated.

Four security guards jumped at Daboul for no reason and started punching him, leaving him badly injured. They broke the IFBB Pro athlete’s ribs, partially broke his nose, and even damaged his left eye. According to the bodybuilder, police have arrested two of the guards from the scene and are still searching for the other two. Daboul shared that the police took statements from the witnesses.
Daboul will be pressing charges against them. He further added that someone needs to speak up and show their support for the athletes.
In the next story, Daboul shared a picture that showed him after the incident, captioning it, “How UK treat athletes at Pro shows.” He is devastated after the incident and is still in the hospital to get his left eye checked. That being said, Daboul had more to say about the IFBB Pro League.

In the end, Daboul shared a soul-crushing message: “Today I felt so embarrassed and I felt really in pain. I’m not talking about the physical pain because I can take much more than that but to get beaten in front of people and in front of my partner is a hard feeling to explain. I honestly wished for that moment to be dead and not have to look at anyone in the eyes.”
