Just a short while ago, Larry faced a near-fatal condition that left him battling for his life. He was diagnosed with Rhabdo disease, which can turn into kidney failure if not treated in time. Despite the odds stacked against him, he refused to be defeated. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, he embarked on a remarkable journey of recovery and resurgence. After getting discharged from the hospital, he’s back at the gym. Bodybuilder has continued to evolve as an athlete, consistently setting new benchmarks for himself. In his recent Instagram post, showcasing his strength. He wrote, “440lb overhead press almost folded me in half”.

Wheels’ battle with Rhabdomyolysis and steroid use

A few days after his fatal accident, he was diagnosed with a disease called Rhabdo, short for Rhabdomyolysis is a life-threatening condition. Larry shared a video where he disclosed his condition and the symptoms of the illness. In his YouTube video, he also revealed that he used to take steroids to enhance his muscles. That causes him a lot of issues, such as mood swings, anxiety, and dizziness. He also mentioned that he thought this disease happened because of using these muscle gain supplements.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, this disease can cause permanent disability as well. It happens because of exertion, trauma, or heat exposure. However, if diagnosed in time and gets proper medical help, then the chances of severe conditions can decrease.
