Gisele Bündchen, a global icon with a net worth of $400 million, swears by a simple exercise regimen that is often underestimated by many. Her recent appearance, where she was seen leaving the gym while flaunting her toned arms, left many wondering about her fitness secrets. While Bündchen is renowned for her dedication to yoga and jiu-jitsu, she has recently incorporated a new dimension into her workout routine.

Gisele’s gratitude for her body stems from a health scare in her early twenties due to unhealthy habits. She used to begin her day with two cigarettes and a Mocha Frappuccino and end it with red wine to help her sleep. This lifestyle led to her adrenal glands shutting down. Fortunately, she turned her life around by changing her diet, quitting smoking, and incorporating exercise like jogging and breathwork into her daily routine.

Bundchen, in a recent interview with Women’s Health, talked about many things. She started with how she begins her day, and how keeping active is extremely important for her. She wakes up at 5:00 a.m. to meditate, followed by a light jog with her dog, covering approximately three miles. Sometimes, her morning workout includes yoga. In the evening, she takes her dog for another walk, finding it beneficial for both her and her furry friend.

Walking, in Gisele’s view, is an “underestimated” form of exercise. Rain or shine, she and her dog move together, emphasizing the importance of this simple yet effective activity. Yoga and jiu-jitsu have been integral to Bündchen’s routine since her twenties, and she practices them religiously. Jiu-jitsu, a martial art focused on self-defense moves, is a regular part of her fitness regimen, with three sessions a week. However, Bündchen also recognizes the significance of recovery in her routine, saying, “Because I’m very intense and I go hard, rest is extremely important.”

In recent months, Bündchen has added weightlifting to her repertoire, aligning with the growing emphasis on strength training. She dedicates three days a week to strength training, favoring lighter weights and higher repetitions, though occasionally lifting heavier weights for fewer reps.

Bündchen’s thrilling adventures

Gisele Bündchen’s love for nature drives her to include outdoor activities like paddleboarding, kayaking, horseback riding, surfing, and even skydiving in her weekly routine. She considers herself an adventurer, always seeking new experiences in the great outdoors.

Even on her busiest days filled with back-to-back Zoom meetings, Bündchen ensures she takes short breaks to stretch for five minutes. Downward dog and sun salutations are her go-to stretches during these breaks to combat stiffness.
