Well, the current reigning Mr. Olympia has a somewhat similar incident to recollect that made him turn around an absurdly disturbing incident, into something positive.
Chris Bumstead is regarded as one of the most well-known athletes in the modern age when it comes to the realm of bodybuilding. All set to defend the title of Mr. Olympia for the fifth time under the training of Hany Rambod, he has been appearing all over the Internet with snippets of interviews. In one of them, he confessed about a childhood memory that made him scared of looking at the clock.

Chris Williamson, the infamous podcaster, who often regards himself as the Trophy husband, shared clips of his interviews on his official Instagram account @chriswillx with the bodybuilding legend Chris Bumstead, also known as CBUM.

In the video, Chris Bumstead was seen talking about how he was scared to look at the clock, as he would often find himself seeing the number 9/11 on the clock. Every time he saw the number, he used to dread that something really bad was going to happen to him. He said, “When I was young, I used to always look at the clock and see 9/11. I don’t know why, but I would look at it and it would say 9/11, and I would be like “F**k something bad’s gonna happen. And I would worry like that.” However, being the optimist that he is, he turned around the entire thing for himself.

What did Chris Bumstead do to overcome his fear?
Chris Bumstead, as a kid, decided to not look at 9/11 as a dreadful number. He reframed the number as a positive tool in order to motivate himself and fixate on the good things. He decided to think of 9/11 as a miraculous number instead of all the scary thoughts it had associated with itself.
