The fitness and bodybuilding realms are filled with inspiring stories, and one such tale is that of Sean Nalewanyj. Recently, the fitness coach shared an inspiring story from his teenage years with his followers. He posted a video on Instagram talking about how he was truly dedicated to working out, which became the reason for his success today.

The online fitness coach recollected his memories from his teenage days and mentioned, “I was 15 years old and training from home.” However, things weren’t easy for the youngster then. For many, working out at home becomes easier owing to a home gym. Nalewanyj, on the other hand, had no such luxury. But he did overcome these hurdles.

Nalewanyj often faced the brunt of not having a squat rack. For someone looking to build his body, this was a serious issue on leg days. To sort this out, on leg days, Nalewanyj would take all his plates from his basement to the other side of his lawn in a wheelbarrow. Then he used his ingenuity to build a makeshift squat rack.

Nalewanyj even highlighted that he “remembers doing this out of the snow a few times during winter.” This showcased the dedication and commitment Nalewanyj had to his fitness goals. “If you’re genuinely serious about your fitness goals and you’re physically capable, there’s almost always a way to make it happen if you truly want to,” he advised.

Not every variation has better results: Sean Nalewanyj

The young fitness coach once shared that the overhead dumbbell press has no extra effects on your body. Instead, he recommended that you should do the normal shoulder press to get optimal results. Nalewanyj believed that sometimes the variations don’t have the benefits that are often touted, and hence recommended sticking to the normal form.
