In a video uploaded by JayCutler’s Youtube channel, Cutler spoke his heart about the unnecessary intake of protein. The Olympia winner always makes good use of his YouTube channel by spreading awareness about fitness and wellness. Shedding light on the consumption of protein, Cutler said, “ I still think that you know I’ll heavy amounts of protein especially as you get older think it can be a strain especially when you’re not carrying the muscle and that’s the thing with the bodybuilders are we think that we’re still like what we were.”
He further went on to say, “Like you guys see the crazy breakfast I eat 100 grams of protein you know so I load up and that could probably carry me through the day if I wanted to but I’m still training this week I’ve trained every day I’m actually repeating my cycle now so like I started with chest and I did chest today like the beginning of the week.” Even though he consumes 100 grams of protein in his diet, he never compromises with his training. He trains his body every day.

Recently, he has talked about his diet which includes 200 to 300 grams of carbohydrates.
Jay Cutler gives his thoughts on carbs
In an interview with Mark Bell – the Super Training Gym YouTube channel, he shared his opinions on training and eating regimens. While talking about his diet, Jay Cutler mentioned that he consumed 200 to 300 gm of carbohydrates with each of the two biggest meals of the day. As Cuteler lifted the heavyweights, carbohydrates in the food were something his body needed to function.

“Everyone’s scared of carbs nowadays.”, said Jay. According to Olympia Winner, the intake of carbs is necessary because not only do they provide the body with energy but also give more power to the muscle. “Remember, I’m bodybuilding, so I’m looking for the roundest, fullest muscle tissue… You’re gonna get that through eating carbs, he said.
