Fitness freak Mark Wahlberg is famous for his 4:00 am workout videos. However, the bodybuilding enthusiast this time did something different from his regular workout posts. The 52-year-old uploaded an inspiring video montage of his workout highlights. Instead of talking to his audience, Wahlberg dialed up the intensity in the video and let the grind do the talking.

Marky Mark also featured his co-owned brand Performance Inspired Nutrition in the video. Fans, accustomed to Wahlberg providing them with their daily workout motivation, had nothing but praise for Marky Mark. Many were astonished at the actor’s athleticism despite being over 50.

The fitness enthusiast has been working out for decades. However, the Transformers 4 actor’s approach toward fitness has changed. Wahlberg has adapted his exercise regimen to prioritize function fitness and recovery. With functional fitness, Wahlberg focuses on joint health, mobility, strength through range of motion, and flexibility. However, this video was different.

After recently speaking on longevity through exercise, the 52-year-old showed he still has what it takes for an intense workout. Wahlberg also showed off his carved back, washboard abs, and bulging arms. However, staying true to his functional fitness philosophy, the actor did variations of standard movements.

While the 52-year-old said nothing in the video, he didn’t fail to inspire fitness enthusiasts. “Get a Headstart on 2024! Start putting in the work now,” wrote Mark Wahlberg. Fans were mighty impressed with Wahlberg’s physique and thought he looked far younger than a man in his 50s.

“50 is the new 25,” said one fan. Another left a similar comment, with a reference to Wahlberg’s music career. “Bring it back to the Good Vibration video son. Looking too lean,” wrote the fan. Wahlberg’s intense workout reminded them of the actor’s 2013 film. “Every time I see you working out it reminds me of the film Pain & Gain. But brilliant work… Keep up the good work, you’re a legend!!” the fan commented.

Wahlberg also succeeded in motivating others. “Your morning workouts really get my days off to a good start,” one fan commented. However, one wrote about something they wished would happen. “Wish you could be my physical therapist. My hip and knee hurt,” the fan wrote.
