Staying without your favorite food, maintaining a diet, or working out rigorously needs immense determination. And now, 55-year-old Mike O’Hearn has divulged how he makes his mind and body stronger for the same, during a discussion with wrestler Eric Bugenhagen in a YouTube video.

The former WWE wrestler and the Titan discussed how the latter dealt with workouts and why he engaged in regimes that required staying long periods without food.

The bodybuilding champion and Bugenhagen were engaged in a brutal leg workout when the wrestler pointed out how he was always motivated to do his best and push his limits by giving 110% of his strength. This is when O’Hearn revealed the real reason behind why he challenges himself. “I don’t do fasting and stuff because it’s good for the body I do it because I wanna see how strong I can be without even eating food,” O’Hearn explained.

O’Hearn also delved into thoughts about a wrestling mentality and talked about his appreciation for wrestlers and their determination when it came to their careers. According to the Titan, having a wrestling mentality will help individuals in the long run. 

Basically, both the legends advocated the necessity of cultivating a winning mentality when it comes to building one’s physical and mental strength. This is not the first time that O’Hearn has talked about his fasting workouts. Previously, he spoke about fasting and Blitz.

O’Hearn had uploaded a video where an avid 27-year-old fan inquired about the relationship between fasting and a Blitz workout. The Titan responded, “In the Blitz, I incorporate the most intense tricks. If you guys wanna try the 30-Day Blitz, I recommend not doing it. It is going to make you incredibly superhero-ish, but it’s tough.” During Blitz, he prefers to do fasting and uses it strategically to activate the body’s fat-burning abilities.

He further explained the core values and principles behind the Blitz and highlighted the incorporation of rigorous techniques to maximize the loss of fat. The bodybuilding champion also advised the fans and followers to exercise caution before attempting the Blitz program because it was physically and mentally demanding.
