Hollywood stars often go through insane training and physique changes as required by their professions. This almost always calls for a deliberate effort from the actor’s side and one shining example of that is the Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman, who has time and again proven his dominance to adapt to his highly demanding roles, even at 55.

This year would mark the memorable release of another movie featuring the fan-favorite Wolverine, titled Deadpool 3. Directed by Shawn Levy, the production recently wrapped up after what felt like ages to Hugh Jackman, as he had been on a strict diet to maintain his superior form. Recently, the actor made a post about the same, showcasing his appreciation for the journey and revealing how relieved he feels upon its completion.

In his latest post, Hugh Jackman talked about how excited he is for July 26th to arrive as Deadpool 3 would be released on that very day. He also showed gratitude towards his colleagues and coworkers as well as the directors for making such a great film. He wrote, “A collective thank you to the entire cast and crew. You are all aces! If you’re reading this and think I mean you, I do. To two of my best mates @vancityreynolds and @slevydirect I literally couldn’t have done this without you. LITERALLY! July 26th can’t come soon enough. Time to shave.”

He also talked about how harsh and tough his fitness training had been throughout the shoot of the movie. Now that it has finally ended, the actor can perhaps find some peace of mind. He wrote, “What a ride! I’ve loved every minute of making this movie. Well … not the 4a training or the steamed fish and veg 4 x a day for 6 months but the other 93.2%.”

At 55, Hugh Jackman’s fitness certainly motivates many, and a popular podcaster and industry insider also shared his words of admiration for the actor.
