Answering the fan’s question, the Austrian Oak spoke about his experience of driving tanks when he was in the Military. He elaborated, “I love doing field maneuvers with the tank crew, Sleeping under the tank so the boars couldn’t get to us, taking out my weights to get a training session, and figuring things out together far away from our big-time commanders.” The answer definitely showcased how, according to Arnie, his best time in the military was spent behind the wheels of tanks. On top of that, it also portrayed his love for building physique even while he was out on a field maneuver.

Alongside his question, the fan had also detailed how he went to the gym the night before after work. On top of that, after getting some sleep, he would be back at the gym and then go for a personal training session. He thanked Arnie for the motivation he provided, after which Arnie congratulated him for his dedication to training.

Even during his time in the military, Arnie did not step away from bodybuilding. In fact, Schwarzenegger even escaped to compete in a bodybuilding show without telling his senior. That being said, the Austrian Oak recommends that every youngster, irrespective of gender, should spend some time in the army.

Earlier, Arnie appeared on Jay Shetty’s YouTube channel for an exclusive interview. When Shetty inquired about the “most intense part” of the legend’s mandatory military service for the Austrian Army, Schwarzenegger responded with an elaborate answer. “When I went through it, it was tough,” said the Mr. Universe winner.

Even when he did face a lot of hardships in the army, he still recommended this to the youth as according to him, military service makes a person disciplined and self-sufficient. “You learn to be tough… So you become kind of self-sufficient… It gives you, I think, a certain amount of confidence,” emphasized Arnie.
