Recently, Dr. Mikhail Varshavski, popularly known as Dr. Mike, talked about the negative effects of the TRT with reality TV star Harry Jowsey. Mike is a famous American internet personality, philanthropist, family physician, and amateur boxer, and he always gives medical advice on his YouTube channel. Doctor Mike does not advise the use of TRT

The uber-famous doctor, who has 11.1M subscribers on YouTube, and does podcasts along with informational videos on medical science, is always updating people about the latest medical knowledge. He started the podcast with eminent personalities to impart more knowledge about health to the common people.

Two weeks ago he did a podcast with reality TV personality, Harry Jowsey, who also appeared in ?Heartbreak Island? and ?Too Hot to Handle?. The podcast was everything about the use of steroids and also some sensitive topics like mental health. When the conversation went to the use of testosterone for pumping up muscles, Harry revealed something.

Dr. Mike, who is an advocate for eradicating medical misinformation, asked him, ?Are you on TRT?? Harry immediately replied, ?I am on TRT.? This is when Mike like a true family physician asks him the most important question, ?What went into that decision?? Jowsey replied that he had gone to the doctor and done his bloodwork, and according to the doctor, he was fine but could be better. So he decided to pump up his muscles with TRT. ?Oh no hyperoptimization,? was Mike?s reply.

Then finally, Dr. Mike revealed the dangerous effects of TRT on the human body, and said, ?Fertility is obviously an issue and that could be permanent in some people. Excess risk of developing heart disease and stroke is the bigger one, especially in younger men.? Jowsey seemed to get the degree of danger from Mike?s words and was pretty serious. The bodybuilding world has seen the negative effects of TRT use, and bodybuilders have passed away due to heart attacks because of that. Even Arnold Schwarzenegger proved that without steroids, muscles could be gained.

Arnold Schwarzenegger shared some insightful information in his newsletters, previously about steroid use. He tackled the topic of testosterone, and if it was better than exercising. He cited the RCT research and gave his statement.

The Austrian Oak said, ?You don?t need pills or injections if you want to transform your health. A little movement is the best medicine.? His claims were substantiated by the research work and documents that the bodybuilder shared. The 7-time Olympia winner explained, ?The researchers found that adding testosterone did not add any additional benefits to exercise alone. Taking testosterone alone did increase muscle mass in the upper and lower body, but it didn?t significantly impact strength, endurance, or fat mass. And it didn?t lead to additional benefits above and beyond the exercise group?.
