Chris Bumstead is the talk of the?bodybuilding world with preparations underway for his 5th Mr. Olympia and the opening of his new gym. The 4-time Mr. Olympia Classic Physique winner has had his ups and downs this month since his brother-in-law and coach Iain Valliere retired. Along with that, he must also deal with the autoimmune disease that affects his kidney. However, amid his own retirement contemplations, Chris is still striving hard to prepare for this year?s Olympia and is acing the training.

Hany Rambod is busy training every muscle in Chris? body to ensure that it is chiseled and ready for the stage. In that process, they often upload YouTube videos of the workout sessions. It is a peaceful Saturday when Rambod starts coaching Bumstead in full swing. He first talked about assessing where the bodybuilder is standing in terms of his weight and physique conditioning. The IFBB pro and coach of veteran bodybuilders introduced how Bumstead has been traveling and his conditioning might be a bit different, and he is going to go on stage in 14 weeks.

Bumstead admits that his knees feel 65% after a leg press workout and takes rests for a while. He also admits that the knees need some blood flowing into the muscles before he can start again. Bumstead told Rambod that he is in a ?good spot? but still not in a ?great spot? but that is what the power duo is working on.

After some, bench presses, and leg presses it was time for an inclined leg press with humungous weights on the legs. Bumstead was pulling through and did his best. He aced the exercise and after the first state, he took some rest. ?I think I need a burger this year I can feel it,? is what CBum was dreaming of after the first rep. The second rep was where he had the bizarre feeling. While doing the second rep in full force he said, ?Oh sh**, feel like I?m giving birth,? which may not be a wrong feeling since almost 900lbs of weight was pushing up with his legs. The man who can lift these amounts of weight called himself weak once, unbelievable right?

In the podcast done by @FULLSENDPODCAST, CBum talked to Bradley Martyn. They realized there was a comparison being conducted between them and he started getting uncomfortable. When these comparisons led to bench press, Bradley became more flustered but his smile never left his face because he knew that in this area his PR was higher than the 4-time Olympia winner.

Bumstead did not refute it and said,??He?s stronger than me, honestly.? He is always humble about his strengths and weaknesses and does not think of himself as an epitome of strength or any sort like that. However, he is one of the strongest in the Classical category who can lift incredible weights.
