With 2 million followers on Instagram, Blessing Awodibu has become a bodybuilding sensation despite being relatively new in the sport. The Irish fitness icon from Nigeria was in the limelight when he won – New York and Indy Pro Bodybuilding 2022. However, he faced an upset in the 2022 Mr. Olympia, not even making it to the top 15.
To focus on Mr. Olympia‘s 2023 competition, the two times IFBB pro sat out the Arnold Classic championship- although the prize pool money had increased this year. Now again, in the 2023 Chicago pro held in July, the Boogieman seemed to have lost the winning edge. Now the bodybuilding community is questioning his form for the next major pro championship.

Taking to YouTube, a bodybuilding community posted a video with an interesting take on the Chicago Pro and the upcoming championship. Ivan Bodybuilding titled the post “Can Carlos Thomas Jr WIN THE OLYMPIA?? + Samson Dauda Leaked Video + Blessing Awodibu Doing Texas!” The host showered praises on Carlos Thomas Jr for his heavenly physique. However, he was not very easy on the Boogieman.
The host said, “We’re gonna see Blessing at Texas Pro as well so he didn’t do well at the at Chicago Pro, not even close like he did really poorly. The reason being is that he simply prepped without a coach.” Ivan Bodybuilding added an Instagram post to the video which showed Blessing Awodibu talking about his ordeal before the Chicago competition.
Blessing further mentioned that he is now working with coach Cameron Cheek and is back on track. The Youtuber elaborating on the issue added, “….they started working together already so apparently blessing was 306 pounds on stage and he got down to 276 already.” However, Ivan bodybuilding channel is unimpressed with Blessing’s legs. He said, “….those legs are definitely not very good legs genetically. He’s always gonna have smaller legs when he’s when, he stands next to Carlos Thomas Jr. Man he’s gonna be so blown away, so there is absolutely zero chance of this guy winning the Texas.”
