Veteran?bodybuilder?Jay Cutler?has had his fair share of misconceptions throughout his career. While he is widely recognized for his exceptional physique and four-time Mr. Olympia titles, there is a prevalent misconception that Cutler doesn’t emphasize heavy lifting in his training regimen. However, this perception couldn’t be further from the truth.
Jay Cutler focused on cleaner and complete reps on moderately heavy weights compared to incomplete reps on super heavy weights. Cutler’s approach to training stems from his deep understanding of the mind-muscle connection and the importance of executing exercises with proper form. But this doesn’t necessarily mean that he didn’t lift heavily. Talking along the same lines, Cutler reacted to an old clip of him from 2003.
