As much as his contributions are revered, his failures are under great scrutiny. But Arnie never sobs over the past, as he revealed recently.

In his recent newsletter, the Austrian Oak admitted to having made mistakes in the past 76 while emphasizing his focus on learning from mistakes instead of being bitter about them.

The bodybuilding icon, revered for his physique, lived most of his life in the limelight. So, Arnie’s accomplishments and failures are equally known to his fans. In his recent newsletter, raising questions about his shortfalls in life, a fan enquired how Schwarzenegger deals with mistakes “that are particularly rough to let go,” before adding, “Always been curious about that.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, like his usual self, didn’t ignore the question and admitted to having led an imperfect life. He said, “I think everybody knows I’ve made mistakes.” He also added how he deals with his shortcomings in the mail. “All you can do is apologize if anyone else was involved, do everything you can to make it right whether anyone else was involved or not, and move forward.

The terminator icon added that repenting and sticking to the past serves no purpose and will consume the time needed to “make things better.” In this way, Schwarzenegger emphasized the importance of correcting mistakes and moving forward instead of sulking with regrets. It isn’t the first time the 76-year-old bodybuilding icon has shared such a view about his mistakes.

The Austrian Oak doesn’t believe in a second chance in life

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s life is an open book for his fans and critics. While his professional life saw unparalleled heights, his personal life suffered from unfathomable lows. His fans were dismayed when his affair with housekeeper Mildred Baena became public. He saw his family of 25 years shatter because of his actions as Shriver announced a separation after his confession about infidelity.

Although he accepts his grave mistakes, the FUBAR actor doesn’t believe in a second chance in life. When posed a question in an interview about undoing his mistakes if given a chance, Arnie commented, “Talking about hypothetical things is a waste.” He emphasized, “We can’t go back and redo those.
