In an interview with Men’s Health UK, Cruise talked about the unconventional practices he incorporates into his fitness regime. He firmly believes that staying static in one’s workout regimen can lead to plateaus and hinder progress. He also revealed a fondness for unconventional exercises such as fencing and climbing. 

When asked how he manages to stay young, The Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning revealed, “Sea-kayaking, caving… fencing, treadmill, weights… rock-climbing, hiking… I jog… I do so many different activities.” He explains that these activities are the two critical components that can betray one’s age. By honing these skills, he effectively defies the march of time, remaining agile and nimble as ever.

Cruise’s practice for performing stunts

Cruise took his stunt work to new heights in his latest installment of the popular movie, Mission: Impossible. The 61-year-old actor was seen riding a bike on a ramp and leaping off a cliff, showcasing his fearlessness and commitment. However, in a recent interview with a popular YouTube channel, The Project, Tom Cruise candidly discussed the extensive preparation that went into executing this dangerous stunt.

The preparation involved much more than speed flying. Cruise engaged in various other stunts, including motorbike jumping and skydiving, to refine his skills and enhance his ability to handle such demanding sequences.
