There are many excuses one might give to skip a workout. But some find different ways to workout even when they can’t find a gym. Applying basic and simple physics laws in real life could help you work out with the objects available in your home.

The IFBB Pro coach, Greg Doucette, is famous for sharing videos both appreciating and criticizing netizens. Recently, he posted a video of a Brazilian fitness enthusiast with a million followers on his Instagram doing lat pull-downs with a car in the back of his house. While this does seem unnatural. Doucette seemed to approve of it.

As the video of the Brazilian bodybuilder doing lat pull-downs with his Fiat Siena went viral, it caught the IFBB Pro Coach’s attention as well. The fitness freak, Carlos Suassuna, did 5 reps of lat pull-downs using his Fiat Siena, which apparently weighs around 2780 pounds. Suassuna made a pully system to make this work.

He tied the back of his car with a rope and then passed it through a pulley on the ground, taking the rope to the beam on his rope and passing it through another pulley. Suassuna made the whole setup just like the lat pull-down machine in the gym. He then added two stoppers at the end so that it could add more resistance and the car could go back to its initial resting stage.

Suasunna has in fact perfectly implemented Newton’s third law of motion using the stoppers. Appreciating the fitness enthusiast, Greg Doucette captioned the post, “No gym? No problem! Sometimes you just gotta do what you have to do!”

Fans and followers were left shocked by the innovative idea of merging simple physics laws with fitness. Some even commented on the importance of paying attention in physics class to be creative like Suassuna.

One fan highlighted how innovative Suassuna was, writing, “Even Rocky Balboa didn’t think this.” Another stressed the importance of physics and wrote, “Physics people! If you paid attention in physics class you’ll understand the pulley method. Looks cool as hell though.” Another Instagram user made a hilarious remark on how he was putting too much load on the pully system and commented, “Dudes gonna pull down that house.

A fan commented on the lat gains from this workout and wrote, “Titanium lats.” A science freak shed light on how Suassuna used Newton’s third law and said, “Great example of Newtons Third Law, ever action has an equal and opposite reaction.” A Hollywood fan drew parallels between X-Men actor Hugh Jackman and commented, “For a moment there I thought Hugh Jackman is trying a new workout routine.”
