The 4x Mr. Olympia understands the importance of a good gut and shared yet another super way to improve gut health in the latest edition of his newsletter, Jay Mail. He further revealed that his suggestions would be very beneficial for people over 40.

It is not unknown that good health comes from a good gut. However, many fail to take care of their gut because of the lack of nutritional knowledge. But there is no need to worry as Cutler often suggests pro tips for good gut health. The latest edition of Jay Mail is all about it, and Cutler admits that the digestive process slows down with age, in it.

So, he got a tip to improve digestion. “Focus on anything which leaves you feeling bloated, lethargic, and uncomfortable – remove it!” he said. He stresses the importance of removing food that irritates the gut from the diet list, even if it is healthy. 

Pay attention and act accordingly… Even if the food is “healthy”, if your gut does not like it, remove it,” he wrote in the newsletter. The next hack from him for better digestive health is, “Eat little and often.” He further added that one should also be careful of the fiber intake. It isn’t the first time the bodybuilding icon spoke in detail about gut health in relation to age.

The previous edition of Jay Mail has a list of things to avoid for a healthy gut with age. The first hack is to avoid heavy meals prior to sleeping. He further suggested including “ fasted cardio” to keep the gut healthy.

We talk alot about fat loss and fasted cardio, but what a lot of people don’t appreciate is how good it is for digestive health,” he said. He also negated the consumption of junk food as it could trigger inflammation that could worse with age.
