In a throwback video by a YouTube channel called FreshandFit, they talked about a variety of topics. While interacting with followers, they received a question related to movie stars and who they believed had a perfect body. In response to that, celebrity fitness coach Gregor Gallagher named Brad Pitt, Ryan Reynolds, Daniel Craig, and Christian Bale. However, Gallagher emphasized more on Brad Pitt. He said Pitt had the best physique. During the movie Fight Club, Pitt had an ideal balance of muscle mass and leanness.
Gallagher, further added,
“The epitome of super lean is like Brad Pitt in Fight Club very, very lean”. To have a body like that, the 59-year-old went through a really hard workout routine as bodybuilders do, but his diet was different from a usual bodybuilder’s diet. According to Fitness Volt, Pitt followed an intense workout session divided into six days. He trained one body part per day for six days, during filming. Mondays were for chest day, which included Push-up, Bench Press, Incline bench press, pec-deck fly, Crunch, and Lying Leg Raise. Tuesday was for Back; Pull-up, seated row, Lat pull-down, T-bar row. On Saturdays, he focused solely on cardio. Furthermore, specific days were designated for working on different body parts, such as legs, biceps, triceps, and shoulders. Just like his workout sessions, he also managed his diet throughout the shooting.
In the portrayal of Tyler Durden, Pitt needed to look shredded. He weighed around around 155 lbs and in order to keep his toned abs and visible muscles, Pitt adhered to a crucial rule for losing fat: maintaining a calorie deficit. He made sure to eat healthy by avoiding junk foods and consuming protein-rich food and vegetables to meet his daily nutritional needs. What he did needed unwavering dedication and discipline to stick to the plan.
