In his Instagram post, Frank Zane urged his fans to take ownership of their actions and avoid blaming external factors for the wrong things happening in their lives. “Take responsibility by not blaming someone or something else,” he wrote in the post. He challenged individuals to reflect on their own contributions to their current situations.
He encouraged them to ask themselves a serious question. “What part did you play in the injury?” he penned in the caption. Zane emphasized by asking themselves what role they played in their own misfortunes. By doing this, they can gain a deeper understanding of the choices and actions that led them there.

When Frank Zane met with a deadly accident
Throughout Zane’s career, he faced numerous obstacles, including a severe injury in 1980 that could have ended it all. The legendary bodybuilder once recalled the horrific urethral injury with a professor in the Health Science department at the University of Houston. He revealed that the incident happened in his house in Palm Springs before his 4th Mr. Olympia.

“One day I jumped in the pool. I hit the lip of the pool in my urethra, smashed my urethra, and blood gushing out of my p**is.”, he explained. However, Zane took full responsibility for the accident.
