In his latest post on Instagram, Zane talks about something that is supposed to work wonders for dedicated bodybuilders. He is seen talking about Unilateral weight training, which, according to him, is more effective if you want to have a proportional body on both sides.

He says, “Unilateral weight training means training one side of the body at a time and might give even more progress than working both sides simultaneously. This means you can train almost all body parts with one dumbbell, but it takes twice as long.”
In his posts, one of his fans commented, “This is how I like to train, also this way I can make sure I don’t have one side more dominant than the other. Which with exercises such as bench press or barbell curls can happen very easily!”
Does Unilateral weight training really help?
Unilateral training is probably one of the best ways to develop or maintain muscle mass and strength at the same time. It helps you figure out your technical and muscular weaknesses, and you can form your routine according to it.

Studies have also stated, “By not training unilaterally, the literature also indicates that you might be leaving gains in core stability, joint integrity, and strength on the table.” What do you think about Unilateral weight training? Would you like to try it out in your routine?
