Have you ever felt insecure about anything regarding your physique? If yes, then you are no different from most people. Even celebrities and veteran bodybuilding athletes have insecurities. But some netizens make fun of them and that is not acceptable, especially by bodybuilder Greg Doucette. In the video, Greg starts with a very relevant topic about body dysmorphia. He explains how people might not be satisfied with something or the other in their body,??perhaps it’s your height, perhaps it’s your weight perhaps it’s your nose, your chin,??he says.
?Greg also admits that the video is funny with everyone staring at the 5-foot-tall guy and smirking. But it is sad as well because the guy must have gone through height shaming his whole life, and when he had enough, a taller guy decides to tackle him to the ground to burst out. Doucette even gave examples of hotshot celebrities like Kevin Hart and Megan Fox, who also have insecurities about their body.
Doucette then goes on to give some statistics,??And I can tell you is a short guy that you very often are made fun of. I looked up the statistics, at my height, I?m only taller than 13% of people in the United States alone. 87% of people are taller than me.? Doucette makes a lot of succinct observations about how height is not in your control. Even if someone increases their height with surgery, it costs money and a lot of pain.
He ends the video on a positive note saying, to be proud of yourself and your height.?Doucette has previously advocated for body positivity as well and the veteran bodybuilder came to Ariana Grande?s rescue.
