At the age of 81, not many would think of continuing their pursuits at the gym, but the God of Aesthetics and three-time Mr. Olympia champion Frank Zane is built differently. Even at his age, he shares his fitness goals and strict workout regime with his fans and leads them on the right path.
In his recent post on Instagram, The God of Aesthetics shared the current training regime he is following along with the other activities he does. He named his approach a holistic fitness approach. An approach that he has honed over time.

In the post, Zane shared that he trains twice a week these days. On day one, the three-time Mr. Olympia champion focuses on his upper body. He trains his legs on the second day of training. Zane focuses on all the vital parts of his body, not leaving any muscle behind. Along with his training, The God of Aesthetics also engages in other activities to stay fit.

The three-time Mr. Olympia champion shared how he was currently focusing a lot on walking. Walking can lead to a good range of motion and helps strengthen and lubricate your joints while sustaining a healthy body weight. Apart from walking, the God of Aesthetics also does archery, which helps one increase their concentration level while also building hand-eye connections. Zane also mentioned that he trains with his clients too.

The three-time Mr. Olympia Champion’s holistic fitness approach emphasizes maintaining a balance between mind, body, and spirit. It encompasses physical fitness, strength, endurance, flexibility, and overall body health. This is not the first time Zane has shared fitness goals; earlier last month, he shared how his fitness goals were changing over time.

The God of Aesthetics shared a post on his Instagram, revealing the change seen in his goals from his peak days. He used to utilize his winter season to work on his weak areas and hone his physique to a greater extent. He gave all his attention to his overall development. Then, years later, he changed his training method according to his requirements.

After changing his methods, he gave his attention to his upper body and calf development. He gained more muscle definition, less calf development, and built leg biceps. Reaching his current age, the three-time Mr. Olympia only focuses on retaining his muscle definition and staying in shape.
