On May 2, 2023, Hollywood action icon Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson turned 51. It seems like Johnson took it easy and relaxed on his birthday. Yesterday on May 4, the former WWE superstar uploaded a glimpse of what he was up to on his birthday. The Rock uploaded a short video on Instagram thanking everyone for showing him love on his special day. However, even in his post to show gratitude to the fans, people wished him a happy birthday. Among those who did, was legendary bodybuilding coach Hany Rambod.
Bodybuilding and training are part of Dwayne Johnson’s life. In fact, he has also made it a part of his brand. The bodybuilding community also respects the Balck Adam star for his dedication to the craft. Hence it’s no surprise that Rambod would complement him and wish him a happy birthday.

The Fast and the Furious actor uploaded a video he filmed on May 2, where he gave backflips a whole new meaning. The 6’5 Ft, over 250 lbs former wrestler showed deceptive agility as he laid back on a hammock, and as it flipped around, Johnson did 360 degrees backflip with it. While the landing might’ve looked a little rough, he didn’t even drop the beverage in his hands.
“Celebrated my birthday with smooth style. And elegant grace. And as always, lots of laughs,” Johnson captioned the video. “After all my kick ass years on this beautiful earth, I can declare with certainty, that life is so much sweeter where you’re not an asshole. Thank so much for all the birthday love. Luv U guys back,” added the 51-year-old.

Watching the actor casually perform the stunt impressed Hany Rambod. “That’s awesome! Happy Birthday Big Brother!” said the bodybuilding coach. Like Johnson, Rambod commands immense respect in the bodybuilding community. The legendary coach led Phil Heath to season Mr. Olympia victories and trains current Mr. Olympia Hadi Choopan. Last year The Pro Creator also led Chris Bumstead to his 4th Classic Physique Olympia title.

Something else that would impress Rambod is The Rock’s dedication to bodybuilding. While Dwayne Johnson might’ve taken time off on his birthday, he didn’t take skip training.
Turning weakness into strength
Even on his birthday, The Rock didn’t skip his workout. In fact, the former WWE wrestler worked on one of his weaknesses. “I’m the last dude to give abdominal advice, but after I tore my abdomen wall during a wrestling match (fun pain) I had to really concentrate on ab exercises,” wrote Johnson.
