Evan Singleton aka T-Rex, a powerful weightlifter from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has impressed the world with his exceptional weightlifting abilities. Singleton used to be a WWE wrestler but had to leave the arena because of an acute head injury. However, this unfortunate incident opened a new career for him. First, he ventured into bodybuilding, but later on, he figured out that Strongman contests were what intrigued him.

Additionally, the former wrestler is now preparing rigorously for the 2024 Arnold Strongman Classic. His recent Instagram post showcasing one of his extreme lifts has now left the internet in a frenzy.

Singleton began competing in Strongman competitions in 2018. He placed eighth in the 2018 Official Strongman Games. His journey into this sport wasn’t easy at all as he faced many setbacks during his career. But he didn’t let those challenges define him. He was determined to make his name in the Strongman community. He continued despite the hurdles. The American Strongman is now preparing for the 2024 Arnold Strongman Classic, with an impressive “Overhead press 405lbs.”

He shared a post on his Instagram with a caption that read, “Great way to start Arnold prep! Last time I’ll do heavy out of the rack press.” He explained that even though this was not the ideal training method, he enjoyed lifting heavy weights. He understood that he needed to improve the muscles that help him stay stable, but was confident in his strength.

Back in 2021, Singleton won the Giants Live World Open and Arnold UK shows. He made the world go in awe after his 1000lb weight lift in a competition. Even at the Giants Live Strongman Classic, he remained victorious. Even after, he competed against Strongman like Mitchell Hooper and Tom Stoltman at the 2023 Strongman Classic in London, England. Moving forward, his recent post garnered the attention of fans with many showcasing their excitement and anticipation to see him perform at the Arnold’s next year.

Fans amazed by the strongman’s lifting skills

After witnessing Singleton’s  prowess one fan claimed “Dude you’re not human.” One user wrote, “That weight is absolutely insane.” Another user pointed at the absurdity of his feat and penned, “When you overhead press more than most people’s dream bench press.” Many were stunned and impressed with his powerlifting skill, “Damn. Unbelievable. Look out, Iron Baby.”

One fitness enthusiast even joked about borrowing something from Singleton and said, “@evan_trex_strongman you mind if I borrow your arms for a day I wanna hit a squat pr.” The strongman’s fans seem impressed by his lift in preparation for the upcoming event.
