Bodybuilders often use supplements to get a ripped and giant physique. However, the situation has become more bizarre and alarming in modern-era bodybuilding. Where every newcomer wants to get those professional bodies in just a little time. Seeing this condition, many former bodybuilders have come forward to guide and spread awareness regarding this.

Lee Priest, who once defeated the 8x-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman five times in just one year, has openly talked about this topic whenever he gets a chance. Recently, IFBB pro coach Milos Sarcev supported Priest in his thoughts on this matter.

The Serbian bodybuilder re-shared a reel on his Instagram story where the 5 feet 4 inches bodybuilder talks about the side effects of muscle-enhancing drugs and how their consumption is making people ill and addicted. He also used drugs after winning an amateur competition.

Sarcev, however, wrote to his IG story and advised, “Stay natural as long as possible. 3-5 years of proper training and nutrition. If you haven’t followed a proper structured periodized training program AND hit your macros every single day for at least 2-3 years.” He delved deeper and said that if somebody hasn’t trained naturally, then using steroids won’t help them in longevity, and doing so will harm you more than provide you benefit.

He went on saying,

“You have NO place doing steroids. Are you or have you competed natural? If not, then I also Don’t think you should touch them.” He recommended if somebody will not compete in professional bodybuilding, then they should avoid taking it completely. Before delving into this, try to build your core strength and gain muscle naturally. Afterward, it won’t harm your body as much as now. Former bodybuilders have confessed to using it so, recently The Australian bodybuilder also admitted using a special drug when he began competing in pro bodybuilding.

Priests reasoned to use steroids

The Blond Myth won his first competition at the age of 13. When turned 19 and began competing with muscular bodybuilders around the world, he used steroids called Deca. He gained around 20 pounds and the transformation was quite significant.

He emphasized that he was competing with gigantic bodybuilders, so he began to endeavor a physique that was required in the competitive field. However, “I’d wondered I’ve gone as far as I could go and one where I could win into amateurs in my country I was going to the next level and they’re like well you’ve got good genetics why’d you take them I said because now that I’m going pro I’m competing with other guys who have great genetics and air on them so for me to keep up with them,” mentioned the Giant Killer.
