Yates always turned heads whenever he stepped on stage, even in his off-season. While he did not defeat Lee Haney in 91 Olympias, Yates became the reigning champion in 1992 and held the crown for 6 long years. Going back to the glory days in the 1990s, 61-year-old Yates took to Instagram and posted a video of his guest posing in FIBO Germany in 1996. He had won the Sandow trophy in 96 as well and was at the top of his game. The Shadow, however, was unsatisfied with his body on the Olympia stage and bulked up for the German Grand Prix. Yates assessed his body and aimed for the ideal balance between tight muscles and a full bulk. This bulked herculean physique is what Yates displayed at the guest-posting event at FIBO.
