Bodybuilders are in a constant hustle to build their musculature. Though Larry Wheels is a world-record-holding powerlifter, he is now focusing on his bodybuilding career, but as fate had it, he was diagnosed with Rhabdomyolysis. Now, Dave Palumbo sheds light on the condition and calls Larry Wheels “one of the strongest men” in the latest video on his YouTube channel.

Pointing at the heavyweights Wheels frequently does, “he’s breaking that huge amounts of skeletal muscle which is going to cause massive amounts of CPK enzyme in his bloodstream,” Palumbo stated.

The coach revealed that only a minute number of Rhabdomyolysis cases are real. Palumbo further clarified that symptoms like high CPK levels and muscle soreness that hint at rhabdomyolysis are common in bodybuilders. Earlier, an IFBB Pro coach, Greg Doucette, gave life-saving advice to Wheels.
