In a recent YouTube video, well-known bodybuilder and fitness YouTuber Kali Muscle shared a message to caution today’s youth against making certain mistakes in their fitness journeys.

After overcoming depression and surviving a life-threatening heart attack, the athlete is now sharing his valuable insights with young people. He advises them to avoid extremes on their health and fitness journeys, whether it’s being excessively overweight or overly shredded. Instead, he emphasizes the importance of maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle, as it is sufficient to reap the benefits.

As per the video that was posted earlier this month, the 48-year-old athlete expressed his concern about heart failures and revealed that “heart diseases” are the number one “killer” in the US. He dedicated the post to all the young people in the world and alarmed them of the dire consequences of going extreme with anything, be it getting fat or being muscular.

don’t get fat don’t get over muscular, stay lean mean,” Kali noted. Moreover, he also pointed out that getting too muscular may predispose one to skin problems as himself.

The athlete displayed in the video how loose and thin his skin felt after years of bodybuilding. The American influencer added, “if you get too big you have skin issues like me.” Nevertheless, Kali once suffered intensely due to his negligence of a concerning health problem in his youth.

In a previous YouTube video on his official channel, Kali opened up about his carelessness of edema in his feet and ankles for years. He confessed to being ignorant even after several warnings from people saying it was a sign of heart failure. “I ain’t got no heart problems or nothing like that,” he recalled saying back then while shedding tears from his hospital bed. 

The athlete further shared that he had to be hospitalized due to severe chest pain one morning. After running tests, it was found that his left artery was clogged totally, preventing any blood flow to the left part of his body. Recovering from his life-threatening experience, Kali intended to create an awareness of better health care.
