Joseph Baena shares a lot in common with his father, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Not only do they look similar, Baena is the 76-year-old bodybuilding legend’s only son who shares his father’s love for the sport. Like his brother Christopher Schwarzenegger, Baena started his fitness journey to lose weight. However, after reading Arnie’s Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding, Baena got into bodybuilding.

Earlier, the 26-year-old real estate agent posted his latest physique update on Instagram. In the images, Baena recreated three of his father’s most iconic poses, and the bodybuilding community couldn’t help but admire Schwarzenegger’s son.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son has been working on his physique for a long time and drops physique updates once in a while. Earlier, Baena posted some images while standing in front of a mirror hitting three iconic classic poses. In the first image, Baena hit the classic variation of the mandatory bodybuilding pose, the side chest. The second was the classic variation of the front double biceps, while the third was a front lat spread.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and the other Golden Era legends made the variations famous. Currently, these variations are the mandatory poses of the wildly popular classic physique category. The overhead lighting accentuated Baena’s physique and conditioning. The 26-year-old also didn’t forget to hit a vacuum during every pose, which was another essential aspect of posing in the 70s. Fans loved Baena’s recreation of the poses his father helped make famous. 

Fans admire the actor’s dedication

Bodybuilding fans couldn’t help but praise the young bodybuilder. They realized that Baena wasn’t letting the elite bodybuilding genetics he inherited go to waste. “The kid is doing something with the genetic lottery he won. Nice work,” commented one fan. Another fan complemented Bena’s skill in the art of posing. “Got those poses down. Make your dad proud,” wrote another fan.

One bodybuilding enthusiast admired his dedication and commitment to staying natural. “Never stop being natty dude. You’re the greatest inspiration,” wrote the fan. One Instagram user praised the progress Baena had made. “Pro Joe. You’re looking great. The body is coming along nicely building it. Nice and slow. Have a great day,” the fan commented. Meanwhile, one fan demanded the 26-year-old be cast in a revival film for the Conan the Barbarian franchise. “We want a Conan Revival NOW!!” said the fan.
