CEO of Gym Positivity, Joey Swoll, shared a miraculous update about his six-hour heart surgery on social media. Swoll piqued the curiosity of his legion of fans with news about a “little scare,” during a routine heart surgery on 27th April. Swoll explained that the surgery was supposed to be wrapped up within 45 minutes but took six hours.
Earlier, the bodybuilder explained why the short surgery turned into a six-hour ordeal. “One day home from the cardiac ICU and I feel great but VERY sore and very, very beat up,” wrote Joey Swoll in his update. He went to the hospital on Friday, 26th April, for a “routine diagnostic angiogram.”
However, “a piece of the tool they used fell off inside my heart causing a LOT of problems and me to crash,” Swoll informed his fans. The doctors even had to put a pipe in his heart to sustain the bodybuilder. It took them six hours and several tires to finally get that piece out of Joey Swoll. “It was a MIRACLE. The doctor has NEVER seen this happen before.,” wrote the bodybuilding icon.

Although Joe Swoll is back in his home and his heart is in better shape than it’s been in years, wear and tear has taken a toll on him. The agony took a physical and mental sliver of the CEO of Gym Positivity. Swoll revealed that since they had to go in through both sides of his groin to access the tool, his midsection has turned “black and blue.”
Joey Swoll also revealed that while he is healthy, recovering from the prolonged invasive surgery will take some time. Yet, despite his discomfort, he thanked the fans and the bodybuilding for their prayers and support in his earlier post. He thanked the doctors and nurses who restored his cardiac health within a year.
Joey Swoll has had a long journey

However, further testing revealed that Swoll’s heart health had started improving. His doctors even took him off the medicine. However, Swoll didn’t find out that his health was back to 100% until the ill-fated angiogram, which resulted in the six-hour surgery.
Although Joey Swoll had to endure a lot of pain and will need time to recover, he can rest easy knowing that his heart is finally functioning the way it should. The CEO of Gym Positivity also has a legion of fans who are to support him through his recovery.
